Its been a while....

Whew! The summer was busy and we saw many changes in the last few months! Cait and Lee are all settled in and doing well. We are thrilled to have them as a part of our crew! We have another new member to the family. Heath Rave started tattooing in Sioux Falls many years ago, his wanderlust years brought him to Minneapolis, Denver and Chicago. In Chicago he met the woman he’d make his wife and they had a beautiful daughter. Heath decided there is “no place like home” and we agree! You can view his work on the page now. He is a gifted and well rounded artist as well as a great machine builder. Stop in and say hello to him and take a look through his work!

Speaking of beautiful children, Tim and Tyler both welcomed new additions to their families in May, both kids are doing great and growing like weeds. Cait will be on leave starting next week for a couple months as her and Nick welcome a little bundle of joy into their family as well. We are all so excited to have these little ones become part of our families!

We expanded! The business next door moved out so we decided to take over their part of the building! The shops are connected and you are able to move freely through both. We encourage you to stop in and take a look. The new side is crushed in hand painted flash by Tim, Tyler, Heath and Dan we are really excited for you all to come take a look!

We have had a few calls recently and just wanted to let you know that we are 100% wheelchair and handicap accessible. We have client with both motorized and manual chairs that comfortably get tattooed in our shop. There is perfect parking right in front and no stairs or ramps to get into our shop.

We as always are taking appointments for the rest of the year. As you can tell we have quite the crew, which means that we are also usually available for walk-ins or last minute tattoos. Our goal has always been to be the most well rounded and talented shop in town. We know that sometimes tattoos can be sporadic at times and want to allow customers without an appointment the ability to walk in and get what they would like. We have thousands of designs for you to look through, or you can bring us a design. We are happy to meet in the middle with you and help create the tattoo you have always had in your head!

Construction won't give us the blues! 

We have been busy around the shop taking care of our loyal clients and new clients. Tax time always gets busy for tattoo artist, so we thank you for being patient with us and allowing us a extra week or two to book your appointment. Please forgive us if we have forgotten to get back ahold of you, and if you feel you might have been overlooked or forgotten about, please do not hesitate to get ahold of us and we will make sure you are taken care of! 

For clients who have not been to our side of town for a while, we are in the midst of some heavy road construction around our shop. If you are coming from the west on 49th, you can park in the Pier one parking lot, but please be respectful and try to take the spots closest to our parking lot. If you are coming on Louise you will use the last entrance on the east side of our strip mall and drive around to the shop. We know this is not ideal, but we are promise that we will all be happy with the results. If you are confused with how you can best get to the shop, please do give us a call! 

We are really excited to announce we will be having Chantel Cherie from The Happy Pincushion in Watertown joining us once a month. She will next be here May 20th. We have all been busy as usual and have you all to thank for it. Nick has been traveling doing some really great guestspots and visiting shops and friends of new and old. Tim has many sheets of new flash that are available for tattooing (see below) as well as paintings at the shop for sale. Tim, Jon, Erin and Rob are still booking parts of May and June, and Nick has his book open for the summer months. Its been a minute since we have update. Tax time has come and we are busy tattooing! We thank you for making Permanent Addictions one of Sioux Falls premier tattoo shops. We will continue to do our work as advertised, Clean, Bold, Bright and Always Permanent. 

If you have been in over the last few months you may have noticed a few changes. Our good friend and award winning tattooer Jon Gamache joined the shop and we are very excited to have him on board! Jon worked with Nick and Tim previously at Permanent Addictions, so it felt natural to get the old crew back together. You can check out some of Jon's work on his page above, we will be adding more to the gallery soon, so keep your eyes peeled! He also has a portfolio at the shop that you can stop and see anytime! You can inquire above if you have any questions regarding Jon and his scheduling. 

Starting Wednesday we will also have another friend and award winning artist Erin Hoogendoorn- Bennett to our shop! Erin has over 10 year experience and has a way of always doing nice work while making her customers laugh. Erin was apprenticed at the same shop as Nick and Tim were, so again, there is some history with us tattooing together before. Erin has her portfolio on her page you can find above, and will be available by appointment and taking walk-ins when available. We still have T-shirts available, they have been moving so if you are interested make sure you don't wait until they are all gone! We can send them out if you are out of state and interested. They are $20 locally and $25 shipped. 

Nick has been busy tattooing and spent a week tattooing at one of our favorite shops, Electric Dragonland in Hopkins, Minnesota. It's an honor for Nick to be able to tattoo at a world famous shop with some of the most gifted artist in the midwest. Tim is tattooing by appointment and taking walk-ins whenever available. He has painted hundreds of designs that you can stop down and check out, or would be happy to draw something custom for you. You can also visit his website at www.timjewelltattooer.com. Rob is working on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday all day and by appointment on Monday. If you are interested in his work, please contact the shop for his availability. 

Don't forget, there is not a single style that we are not interested in doing. We have a unique crew and its put together the way it is so that we can offer any style at any time. There is no design too big or too small. Color, or black and grey. Traditional or Realistic, we are here to serve Sioux Falls with the best tattoos in the region.
