Its been a while....

Whew! The summer was busy and we saw many changes in the last few months! Cait and Lee are all settled in and doing well. We are thrilled to have them as a part of our crew! We have another new member to the family. Heath Rave started tattooing in Sioux Falls many years ago, his wanderlust years brought him to Minneapolis, Denver and Chicago. In Chicago he met the woman he’d make his wife and they had a beautiful daughter. Heath decided there is “no place like home” and we agree! You can view his work on the page now. He is a gifted and well rounded artist as well as a great machine builder. Stop in and say hello to him and take a look through his work!

Speaking of beautiful children, Tim and Tyler both welcomed new additions to their families in May, both kids are doing great and growing like weeds. Cait will be on leave starting next week for a couple months as her and Nick welcome a little bundle of joy into their family as well. We are all so excited to have these little ones become part of our families!

We expanded! The business next door moved out so we decided to take over their part of the building! The shops are connected and you are able to move freely through both. We encourage you to stop in and take a look. The new side is crushed in hand painted flash by Tim, Tyler, Heath and Dan we are really excited for you all to come take a look!

We have had a few calls recently and just wanted to let you know that we are 100% wheelchair and handicap accessible. We have client with both motorized and manual chairs that comfortably get tattooed in our shop. There is perfect parking right in front and no stairs or ramps to get into our shop.

We as always are taking appointments for the rest of the year. As you can tell we have quite the crew, which means that we are also usually available for walk-ins or last minute tattoos. Our goal has always been to be the most well rounded and talented shop in town. We know that sometimes tattoos can be sporadic at times and want to allow customers without an appointment the ability to walk in and get what they would like. We have thousands of designs for you to look through, or you can bring us a design. We are happy to meet in the middle with you and help create the tattoo you have always had in your head!

It's springtime (kinda)

Hello everyone! It's been a while since we have updated, but we have been busy tattooing! 

First we'd like to bring the exciting news that we have welcomed our friend and wonderful artist Cait Hicks to our crew. Cait is a great artist that helps round our crew out perfectly. You can stop in, call, or email Cait to make an appointment. 

We have been very busy as of late, and there doesn't appear to be a end to that anytime soon. While we do enjoy and welcome walk-ins, an appointment will assure you have a specific time set aside from you. Part of the reason we have been expanding our crew is because we want to be able to take care of all of our clients. If you want an appointment on a specific day, we do recommend an appointment, but we encourage you to give us a call or stop in if you get a wild hair. 

Tim and Tyler have exciting news also, they both have babies due in May! Tyler and Jade will be expanding their family to 4 while Tim and Laura are welcoming their first. If you'd like in with Tim or Tyler during May, their hours may vary, but both will still be in and out of the shop while helping with the new additions. As always they have been busy tattooing and painting new flash for the shop. Most of you know that we have hundreds of hand painted designs hanging on our wall, we encourage you to come take a look anytime to see if we have a design that fits your needs, if not we are happy to draw you something, or tattoo any design you bring in! 

Nick, Jon, Ally and Erin are all staying busy with tattooing and family also, but ready to take on new clients and projects. They are also excited to see old clients come out of winter hybernation. 

We are as always thankful to have the best clients in Sioux Falls. It takes the best clients to make the best tattoo shop. Keep your ears open, we have more exciting news coming up soon!

Hello! 

We have been busy, and realized we had better stop by and check in with you guys. Fall is in full swing and we have been staying busy around the shop! We've had some great guest artist the past few months and look forward to bringing you plenty more in 2018, we will keep you posted on that as we finalize some dates with our talented tattooer friends from around the US. 

Nick, Tim, Tyler and Jon will be tattooing in St. Cloud November 3-5 at the Cloud-A-Scope tattoo convention. It is a wonderful venue and we look forward to meeting new people and working on some fun pieces. It will take place at the St. Cloud River's Edge Convention Center. If you are interested in getting tattooed or have friends there you'd like to send us our way let us know or have them send us an email! 

This year we have a Friday the 13th in October. We will be running a flash friday special, which means we will all be drawing pages of flash and doing discounted pricing on the flash we already have hanging on our wall. The way we do this is first come, first served. Stop in at noon and put your name on a sheet with which design you'd like and your phone number. We will call you 30 minutes in advance of when we will be able to tattoo you, that way the shop doesn't get overly crowded and you don't have to sit and wait for your turn! We will be doing an overhaul on photos over the next few months as we gather them and arrange them. It was a busy summer and we are excited to show you everything we have been working on.

Mid July.

We have been busy around the shop and this makes it a bit more difficult for me to update the page, but we certainly can't complain about being busy! 

We have spent the last few months putting together a crew of tattooers that can offer you the best tattoos in Sioux Falls. Recently we have a couple new additions that rounds off the crew perfectly. Tyler James will be staying with us permanently and we are excited to have him. Tyler now has his work on the page for you to view. We encourage you to check out all of our artist work as we pride ourselves on the ability to offer the highest quality work of all styles under one roof. Tyler is an extremely well rounded artist with a keen eye for detail. We have also added a Talent artist named Ally Rae. Ally spent the last few years in Sioux Falls learning the craft and recently joined our team. I will get her work up as soon as possible for you to check out. Ally is a wonderful artist that enjoys multiple different kinds of work and has some really great drawings at the shop you can check out! Please check back over the next few weeks to view some of her work! 

We are happy that our brothers/sisters of Prophecy tattoo will be back in their shop within the next week, but we are super sad to see them go. It's been really great forming new friendships and learning from one another. The shop is sure going to be different without them around, but their new shop is beautiful. We will hopefully be working on some cool projects together going forward and will make some announcements about that in the future.

Mid June.

Again we have been busy. I apologize for the lack of updates around here. 

Construction is still going on and we are still thankful to our faithful customers for navigating around it. You can now get in our lot from the 49th street entrance or the Louise entrance. If you are entering on Louise you have to use the furthest driveway east of our shop. We want to thank you all for making it through construction with us. When it is done, we are planning on doing another if it fits its $50 day. 

Late notice here but we will be having a flash Friday party at the shop this Friday. All flash painted in house will be on special. We are confident we have pieces to fit just about any budget. Tim and Tyler have painted hundreds of designs over the last few weeks and we want to tattoo them. This special will be by walk-in only, no appointments. We will be running this special from 12pm until we are done tattooing folks who want them. 

This year is our 15th anniversary as a shop and we are planning a late summer/early fall celebration. We can't wait to release more information to you as it comes. 

I will be doing a big update on the portfolio pages so keep your eyes out for some of the new stuff we have been working on.

P.S. You can still catch the Prophecy Tattoo crew tattooing out of our building. We will let you know when they have their shop done, they are hoping to be back in their shop in July! 

April and May!

Construction won't give us the blues! 

We have been busy around the shop taking care of our loyal clients and new clients. Tax time always gets busy for tattoo artist, so we thank you for being patient with us and allowing us a extra week or two to book your appointment. Please forgive us if we have forgotten to get back ahold of you, and if you feel you might have been overlooked or forgotten about, please do not hesitate to get ahold of us and we will make sure you are taken care of! 

For clients who have not been to our side of town for a while, we are in the midst of some heavy road construction around our shop. If you are coming from the west on 49th, you can park in the Pier one parking lot, but please be respectful and try to take the spots closest to our parking lot. If you are coming on Louise you will use the last entrance on the east side of our strip mall and drive around to the shop. We know this is not ideal, but we are promise that we will all be happy with the results. If you are confused with how you can best get to the shop, please do give us a call! 

We are really excited to announce we will be having Chantel Cherie from The Happy Pincushion in Watertown joining us once a month. She will next be here May 20th. We have all been busy as usual and have you all to thank for it. Nick has been traveling doing some really great guestspots and visiting shops and friends of new and old. Tim has many sheets of new flash that are available for tattooing (see below) as well as paintings at the shop for sale. Tim, Jon, Erin and Rob are still booking parts of May and June, and Nick has his book open for the summer months. Its been a minute since we have update. Tax time has come and we are busy tattooing! We thank you for making Permanent Addictions one of Sioux Falls premier tattoo shops. We will continue to do our work as advertised, Clean, Bold, Bright and Always Permanent. 

If you have been in over the last few months you may have noticed a few changes. Our good friend and award winning tattooer Jon Gamache joined the shop and we are very excited to have him on board! Jon worked with Nick and Tim previously at Permanent Addictions, so it felt natural to get the old crew back together. You can check out some of Jon's work on his page above, we will be adding more to the gallery soon, so keep your eyes peeled! He also has a portfolio at the shop that you can stop and see anytime! You can inquire above if you have any questions regarding Jon and his scheduling. 

Starting Wednesday we will also have another friend and award winning artist Erin Hoogendoorn- Bennett to our shop! Erin has over 10 year experience and has a way of always doing nice work while making her customers laugh. Erin was apprenticed at the same shop as Nick and Tim were, so again, there is some history with us tattooing together before. Erin has her portfolio on her page you can find above, and will be available by appointment and taking walk-ins when available. We still have T-shirts available, they have been moving so if you are interested make sure you don't wait until they are all gone! We can send them out if you are out of state and interested. They are $20 locally and $25 shipped. 

Nick has been busy tattooing and spent a week tattooing at one of our favorite shops, Electric Dragonland in Hopkins, Minnesota. It's an honor for Nick to be able to tattoo at a world famous shop with some of the most gifted artist in the midwest. Tim is tattooing by appointment and taking walk-ins whenever available. He has painted hundreds of designs that you can stop down and check out, or would be happy to draw something custom for you. You can also visit his website at www.timjewelltattooer.com. Rob is working on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday all day and by appointment on Monday. If you are interested in his work, please contact the shop for his availability. 

Don't forget, there is not a single style that we are not interested in doing. We have a unique crew and its put together the way it is so that we can offer any style at any time. There is no design too big or too small. Color, or black and grey. Traditional or Realistic, we are here to serve Sioux Falls with the best tattoos in the region.
